We are saddened to inform the membership of the passing of Howard Kelloway (Transportation), husband of Catherine Clark (Transportation), on April 23, 2019.

Obituary

Howard fought a brave fight against cancer. Positive and good-natured right to the end, a trait of his personality. He will be missed by his son Tim, daughter Ashley, brother Larry, sister Wendy, 5 grandchildren and his loving wife of 40 years Catherine Clark.

 A celebration of life will be held at Drury Funeral Home Alliston, ON from 11am - 2pm. on May 18th, which would have been his 64th Birthday. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alliston Humane Society or My Sisters Place in Howard’s memory.

 There will be no funeral but the family is planning a Memorial at a later date; the membership will be notified once those arrangements have been finalized.

Obituary

Michael Keith Jones (February 7, 1952 - April 27, 2017) passed away in Oshawa, Ontario after a long illness. He leaves to mourn his wife Elaina and daughters Summer, Aysha and Hesper, his sister Lyne, his mother-in-law Aletha, his brothers-in-law Garry(Christine), David(Donna) and Graham(Karen) and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Michael was predeceased by his parents, Alan and Thelma Jones and his brother-in-law George. Michael loved his family, adored his daughters and was looking forward to soon being a grandfather. He was a talented artist in drawing, stained glass and wood. As a member of I.A.T.S.E. Local 873 since 1979, Michael worked on more than 200 movies in Toronto and the surrounding area. He was a personal chauffeur to many famous actors in his long career. He will be sadly missed, always loved and ever remembered.

Robert Edward James

It is with great sadness that the family of Robert Edward James announce his passing. On Monday, April 15, 2019 Robert passed away surrounded by his family at St. Michael’s Hospital. 

Robert will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 40 years, Maria and his beloved children, Michael, Alexander, Katherine, Veronika and Diana. Robert will also be fondly remembered by his three siblings, Mary Anne, Patrick and Rosemary.

A native of Toronto, Robert was born to Kathleen Coffey (née Hodgins)and Robert Judson Coffey. He attended University of Waterloo, and graduated with a degree in Psychology. He worked in the film industry for over 40 years in the set decoration/props department. 

Robert was a loving and dedicated father, husband, brother, and friend. Whether it was cheering his kids on at their hockey games and music recitals, road trips to the cottage and lakes, Robert’s most cherished moments were with his family. A special thank you to the staff at St Michael’s Hospital ICU department for their loving care and support. 

A visitation/celebration of life will take place at Heritage Funeral Home (50 Overlea Blvd, East York) on Monday, April 22nd from 5-9pm, with eulogy and speeches at 6pm and prayers at 7pm. A Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 23rd, at 11:00am at St. Brigid’s Catholic Church (300 Wolverleigh Blvd, East York). Interment will follow at York Cemetery (160 Beecroft Road, Toronto).
